im your average 16yr old broke as hell and neither of my parents will give me money for a mountian bike because i already have a bmx. So my problem is i want to experience both worlds but i only have 300-400$ Im open for suggestions on a good quality mountian bike in that range. :cornut:

Find a way to "hook-up" with an attractive bike shop person of the opposite sex. That's the best hook-up. Or the same sex, I guess, if that's your thing. I'm not prejudiced or anything.

pawn shop, especially near colleges where students have sold off their campus bikes. You'll get one cheap, but will need the extra cash to replace the rusted chain and cables.
