Liberty Bikes has changed their annual Polar Bear Ride on New Years to a Polar Bear Workday out at Bent Creek since the trails are a mess!

Details here:

Let's work hard Friday clearing the trails so we can play hard the rest of the weekend! :)

Little confused!

I am a little confused (what else is new). Is the meeting time for the work project at 12noon at Trails End?

I plan to be there and bring chainsaw gear (yes, I am USFS certified).

Yes 12noon is the meeting time. We'll be glad to have your help!
Reports from others say that Pine Tree and Explorer have a lot of downed trees!

If the weather is bad we will reschedule for the 10th. Check here on Friday if the weather is not looking so pretty ;)
I'll be there, bringing saw gear.

Weather is looking good
See you there!
 26 people turned out and Pine Tree and Explorer loops are now nice and clear! Thanks everyone who helped. Good trail karma for the new year!
Must have been Claud's home made cookies... my leg metal never balked.
