Hello All...havent rode for almost 10 years and looking for a bike. Funds are limited and was looking at these 2? Thoughts or experience with either?

A mongoose cannan is a solid bike.

Can't go wrong with the Canaan Elite. I have the 2009 model and it's been a great bike.

Any bike you pay $2500.00 for will be an exellent choice!

You can get the same componants on a Motobecane for half the price if you don't mind the off brand frame. Then you still have over a grand to buy a high end name brand frame from a close-out deal on another site. Put your build on the better frame and you have a free back-up frame all for around the original price of the mongoose. Or don't buy the frame and save $1200.00!
