I have recently broughta Gt avalanche 3.0 .
I am having some problems with the tektro disk brakes on it.
The front disk seems to be cathing on the brake pad and it is really annoying menow to mention wearing my brakes out and sowing me down.
The bike has already had its 1st service and for a while the poblem was fixed but a few rides later it has come back to haunt me.
Normally fixing a brake would not be a problem butt i have never had a bike with disk brakes and not sure what to do.
If anyone can help me and ut me out my misery it would much appreciated

Did you go to the Tektro site and find the .pdf files on their brakes? I did in 10 seconds. I doubt you will get much first hand help on this site as Tektros are not very popular.
Maybe your problem should be re-addressed by the dealer.
BTW you should be on the "Brakes" forum.

Ahhh now I see that your post was your first post at mtbr! Welcome! Yes we have a thriving "Brakes" forum with many knowledgable people as regular posters - mostly brake industry reps and general brake "experts". Most of us have been on that site for years. Pull up a chair.
