Ok, I do have a good explanation...since the trails are still too sloppy to ride, and I hate the thought of burning-up my expensive Rampages on the street, but just need to ride, I installed some beach cruiser tires and BMX platform pedals. Blasphemy, I know. But I am riding a few times a week now, and it is surprising how well those things corner! Also, for any sharp eyed observers, I got tired of that dull "burnt orange" finish, (more like old copper). So, I cleaned it up good and shot the whole frame with high gloss clear.What a difference! It actually looks orange now; it really pops in the sunlight,
Cleaning off the mud should be much easier now as well, but you will never see me on the trails with those whitewalls!
