I got a new set of Azonic Outlaws and the front wheel set up with the 20 mm thru axle has play in it. Is that normal? Not a lot but you can feel it like a loose headset but it's the hub.

Any ideas. Should I send it back?

Hit it with a f'n big hammer.
Or you can just not do that and instead take a 6mm allen wrench and torque down the thruaxle bolt until there's no play...the bolt might feel bottomed out, but thats just an illusion; keep torquing that 6mm down, and then torque down the pinchbolts (not too tight though, the TA pinchbolts are one of few things that I'd recommend using a torque wrench on, although I don't use on myself). Oh, that is, if you have pinchbolts...if you don't...then you don't need to do that...

It's not normal for new wheel to have play. You may really have to torque that thruaxle bolt down though.

SH!T. I just can't give up this forum.

Good Luck,
Tim
