Good schtuff, looks like Whafe was somehow able to manuever his cumbersome earthquake inducing FS 29er thru those techy moves, how was this possible?

Aqua & Co turned it on again for the mad kiwi... Been 2 years almost since riding in the SD area, so love this area.... Do I love CHUNK? I love CHUNK.....

Had a blast.......

Someone so wants a German frame..............

Geek on a bike, what a good little tyke.....

The girls were ripping it up, awesome day...

Aqua getting busy in the chunk.... It is amazing how pictures so dont do terrain justice.... This terrain has the potential to punish you bad.... Trust me, my legs, arms, chest etc have the scars now to prove it ;)

Need to link a few pics and do up a Gif or 2 or 3 or 4 ;)

I’d like to come off as some smart ass, me riding a Ventana Terremoto (earthquake for the language impaired), but there is no way I could even make half of the moves you guys photographed, so I’ll just shut my hole.

Those extra doughnuts are workin' out well. In true Homer style, I'll definitely be racing Clydesdale this weekend.

I'm booked the next 2 weekends, but later this month or early May would be a perfect time to head this way.

Looks like a good time.

I am willing to bet that Whafe was probably the first Kiwi on wheels on that mountain. Quality chunkage for sure...

1. You don't have enough sinew to ride the hound.

2. That was a custom frame? Everyone knows 6'4" guys need 25 inch top tubes.

3. 'Oly Moly I need to ride there...Very Jealous.

Good lens work as well Whafe.

Dont wish to piss on the 26 inch brigades fish n chips too much, but I seriously have to say, a 29er for this sort of terrain far out performs slow techy chunk... Yep am sure some of the long travel brigade will say otherwise, easy to bomb through some of this stuff, but cant make the hairpins / swithcbacks at pace.....

Was so great to ride such different terrain to NZ..... Rode in 3 states in 4 days, yeah ha...

Yep, sheesh I look like a fat popo for sure, to much work and food not enough time to ride, lost a few pounds though....

Funny though, the wheel base on the Nicolai is an inch shorter than the Wolfy!

So was awesome on the Switchbacks...

What is the WB on the Nicolai? I believe you, but I find that hard to believe! I would have placed the Nicolai at least an inch and a half longer if guessing.
