Place to Donate MTB Clothes?

Hi Girls! I'm going through my overstuffed drawer of mountain bike clothes, and am realizing that I have a lot of things I never wear that somebody else would probably really appreciate. Does anybody know any of any clubs or high school teams or anything that would be happy to receive some clothes? I have shorts and jerseys, so plenty to help some new girls get started. Thanks for any input!

send Berkeley Mike a PM, he collects things for the norcal high school racing team....

Mike isn't involved with the Norcal team anymore, but I bet he can point you in the right direction.

Definitely send your stuff to the high school leagues via Mike or the person he refers you to - they will make sure that kids who need good training clothes get them. MTB has a pretty high cost of entry as a sport and it is fun to see your kit used by a happy girl during her first MTB season, knowing that you helped make it possible.

Perfect. I just sent a message off to Mike so hopefully he'll point me in the right direction. Thanks again for helping me out. I'm definitely excited to help out some girls who are getting started. They're in for years of fun!

I'm not dead yet!

I am working directly with the Albany High Club and continue to support the El Cerrito Team and the YMCA.

PS. MissMTB contacted me with her thoughtful offer and I will do my best to support it's proper usage. Thank you all for remembering my work and supporting the girls.
