Well what does the bike shop say?
Pivot bike issue.
Has anybody out there had an issue with the annodising on Pivot bikes?
My brother has a 6 month old Mack 5 (blue),and the annodising is coming off already.
No one here wants to help !! The bike rides well but he finish and back up are poor.
Anyone else got any problems.
The guys at Pivot will not return his emails.

I'm assuming you've contacted the guys at jetblack.
I've found them extremely helpful and willing to bend over backwards to sortout problems.
Having said that I've had my 429 since august last year and the anodising is sweet.

Who are Jetblack ? The bike shop questioned what he was using to clean the bike. Water and soap ! I mean how harsh is that.
I put the bike on my Thule bike rack once,and the annodising has come of. My carbon Mojo SL is more resilient.
