So in the next day or two, I need to get into the top of South Mills river trail via 1206 from hwy276 and then taking the first FS road on the right to the trailhead so'z I can do the Black mtn>Turkey Pen>Mulinax>Squirrel gap>etc etc loop.

Can I do this right now? ..the road that is. Otherwise I'll have to drive all the way around to Turkey Pen gap. And I'd rather not.

Last Thursday 1206 was open from 276 to the 476. So, yes, you should be able to do that.
