Considering the pinion gearbox on my next build. Frame is in the construction phase and hence it is time to decide. Amongst other concerns is the need to run an instant engagement hub - onyx = $$$. Since the pinion has ITS OWN clutch, is there any reason a fixed rear hub would not work? I can only think of one reason; that it might not play nice with constant force, and even if force is let off the pedals while, say climbing, that forward movement alone may be too much to allow gear change up or down?

Thanks for reading!
