I am about to get one of these forks but I have two questions.

Extra firm, I'm 200lb and ran a firm, standard spring is super soft, I used to crush it
454 is strong and a bit lighter than the 426, remote pop lock, I never had one but just reach down and lock out takes 1 sec.

Extra firm easy, but you may find you need a firm. I am 280lbs and riding an extra firm and it sags just right.

Here's RCs spring chart.

Looks as though black or extra firm is what you looking for. You can also change to a heavy weight oil if it's not enough. I would go with the 454 as well. I prefere the air one but the coils are good to.

As far as spring for a Pike, I'm 190 with gear, and I found I could go with a firm or extra firm (ran each for a long time), depending on my taste. At 240 lbs, an extra firm seems like a no-brainer to me.

Hi its easy you need an allen key and a large socket, and care on the threads,heres a link I have used for my Pike and Lyric.
