As promised here are some pics of my Moment after the build. I'll work on some action shots this weekend. Sorry for the blah background, but I'm at work getting ready to head to the trails.

hey dude, nice ride. But please, please run your chain through your bike frame rather than just the wheels man. The only thing holding back a punk from taking it is the QRs.
I'm not really concerned with theft when it is at my office the lock is there to deter my fellow employees from even thinking about practical jokes. When I go somewhere I less secure it is locked through the frame.

Wow! Nice bike and specs. Just a quick question- is there a reason why the direction of your front and rear discs are different?

regards,

Laifer
Did it as a test to see it there was and difference in the braking and never turned it back around. There was no difference in the braking.

Are you happy with the size of the frame you settled with?
Totally happy!!!!:D I would not have been able to ride a medium. I think I will have to move to a 90mm stem from the 70mm that I have, but I'm going to give it some time before deciding. I'm happy with the color also. I had originally ordered the blue but the stealth black looks so good.

This frame has such "flickable" and predictable handling especially in all-out, fast as you dare go situations. Do you feel the same? I really like the propedal Fox shock too. It is a lot less harsh over the small stuff than the romic was on my Joker (might be due more to the suspension design???) and hitting the drops are like landing on a mattress. The rear end also appears to be stiffer than the Joker and transfers power to the wheel better. I need to get with a friend of mine and compare his RFX to the Moment. Maybe after I get a Fox DHX as he is running an Avalance shock!

Build update

Goodridge brake lines are on order, along with a 90x5 Thomson stem and Hope seatpost QR. That should be everything to complete my build.
