Guess I'll start it off this week. My Wife will be happy to return from a week away and see the rest of the parts for her build came in yesterday.

Sorry, no 29er content this week. I went to New Brunswick to buy a canoe. I wish I could have brought bikes, but it would have been a tight squeeze coming home.

It rained all weekend, but we went hiking in 'the woodlot.'

Good eats, good beers, good times.

Pics from my Father's Day early morning jaunt at White Ranch. No shots of the endless water bars and the rockier bits, unfortunately.

This is the Colorado Front Range in late June?!

Edit: Due to my home dsl gateway dying, let's try uploading to the mtbr photo gallery...

You realize that today is 06/26/09, right?!
Yeah, noticed that earlier. It was a little too early in the morning when I posted that. Must have been still half asleep when I looked at the calender.

However that doesn't really matter, does it??

The weather generally has been just gorgeous lately.

Work travel

Sometimes it takes you to the right places. First day the hotel was four blocks from the trailhead....and it had a microbrewery inside the hotel. The next day I travelled up the valley and rode afternoon.

I have started taking the camera with me again when I ride, so here's a couple from last nights ride.
1 - We've got some trails with some awesome scenery if you know where to look.
2 - It never looks as steep or tech in photos.

Wish I had some beautiful mountain shots but I'm in Orange County and there ain't no such thing around here. But here's a decent shot of a crossing of Tijeras Creek.
