I am currently studing photography at college and finding my feet in what areas of it I enjoy and would like to maybe work in. This was the first sports event I have shot and after a bit of messing about with camera settings I think I got some decent results. Looked a pretty good course, and was dry too which was nice.

Anyway, heres the link to the best pics

Any feedback on what you like/dislike about that would be great. I'll be along to a lot more races taking pics I am thinking as it was a blast taking these!

First, the pics are generally awesome and convey the speed well. But one thing - it is apparent in a lot of the pics on the web site that the camera was turned to make the terrain look steeper than it really was. Generally not a problem, but when one sees trees and people standing at an angle it becomes too apparent.
