Redwoods Rotorua New Zealand.

Well I will need to get some good photo's but here is a Video of another nice New Zealand track in the Redwood forest.

I'm just working out a new camera so not as clear as I would like (the Gopro mount has a bit of play in it I will need to fix ) but we were just checking out tracks that we had never ridden before so just playing really.

There are lots of this type of tracks over there the hardest thing is to find the time to ride them.

Note for anyone that cares the 1st video was my 1st ride on Ikon's & they are a great XC tyre,On the front they can wash out a bit at speed, I have been running a 2.4 Ardent & that grips like hell.

On the fast corners with a bit of loose on top the mid corner with the Ikon speed feels like about 2 to 3 mph slower than the 2.4 Ardent (that is just approx ) I will get a better idea when I do some tracks I have lots of data on.

couple of vid questions for you

1) Are you using the chest mount and do youhave it attached right side up or upside down?
2) What rate are you shooting at (r1-r5)?
Thanks man

Sweet sequence you shot there, Mike. I especially like photo #2 where he looks like he is in a water skiing position!!

On the other hand, at my age, that sequence of mad skillz reminds me of what it takes to get in and out of the 4 corner post bed every morning and night (sans bike).....:D

No photos to add this early in the morning, but today - Friday, April 1 - is the day the first egg is scheduled to hatch live on TV. This Eagles nest live video feed is in Decorah, IA which has some of the best mountain bike trails in Iowa. Kind of fun to watch Mom and Dad swap out nest duty and warm the 3 little eggs.

BB

Enjoy...

I have just moved up to the 1080 HD camera & was using the Std gopro helmet mount & it has quite a bit of play in it.I will go back to the mount I made for my basic model used in the second video.

It was r5

Stayed up late last night to finish these two bikes. The front one is a "modern-retro" flat bar townie I built for my roommate.

The Surly Crosscheck in the back is mine and has 29x2.0 tires fitted :) Both bikes are 1x10. I'll post more pictures later, going for a city ride with the dog right now!
