Philadelphia trail conditions

Heading up to Philly for a week (30th to 3rd) and was thinking of brining the bike and hitting the Wiss or maybe driving up to Green Lane or Sals. Anybody know the trail conditions? Is everything wet and unridable or is it good to go?

It rained last night and will continue to do so throughout the day. I bet the wiss will be just fine come Thursday.

If you're looking to go to sals, it's raining up this direction off and on for the next few days. But Trex will be perfect with a little moisture. Trexfest is sunday, so keep that in mind.

Crazy question but for parking, with out of state plates, where is the safest place to park? I used to park at the far end, by Chesnut hill college. Is that still a safe place? Parking up the road from the Valley Green or in that lot right next to the VG lot, was always questionable and I actually had my car broken into twice in those parking lots when lived there.

Up by Chestnut Hill college is prolly the safest bet. But honestly, break-ins have less to do with the car's plates and more about what is visible inside the car.

CH College/Northwestern is the best place to park. VG Inn is not good. Not sure if anyone remembers, but they busted a guy a bunch of years ago who worked at the VGI. He was watching people come in and hop on their bikes or head out for a run, then would call his buddies for a smash and grab. I would think Bells is even worse! It's dark and quiet at night. I've talked with police in the area as well, and they told us to always park at Northwestern and never anywhere else.
