what year/model is this hub?

pre FSA with replaced bearings(or the colors on my monitor are off). sadly the rust is very common

getting an exact year is gonna be tough

I think these 1st gen hubs shipped from the mid'70s to late 80's.

Phil Wood & Co still services these hubs, and can do bolt-on/QR conversions, as well as axle length changes for rear hubs.

Not really sure why I grabbed it, except it looked cool. I guess I'll keep my eyes peeled for a rear hub for a future klunker build. In the mean time, I'm gonna clean it up nice and make it a funky paperweight.

Greetings Eastcoaststeve, I have a 1st gen. medium flange hub I purchased sometime in 1975 I believe, it's been on several bikes and am still riding on it, however each year I pop the seals, grease the bearing and still have minimal play in the brngs.
