I need to lube my bearings on my Intense 5.5 frame, i have Pedros synlube, that what i can get hold of in my LBS, will it work, or should i go for something more sticky, in a motorshop??

Wouldn't you use grease for the bearings?

Low speed bearings are beter protected with grease and there is very little advantage in the friction department.

Grease will last alot longer.

I tried Pedros on some worn out wheel cartridge bearings, sure helped but it only lasted one or two rides.

Rock n Roll SuperWeb grease is the best thing for bearings, IMHO.

Pedro's Syn is designed for use in bearings, so use it with confidence. I use it on my girlfiend's hubs (she likes that!) and I used it on my own hubs and headset before switching to components with sealed bearings. I still use it to repack the cartridges in my headset, but find it only takes a short while longer to simply switch the bearings in my sus. pivots, so that's what I do.
