Just trying to solicit some advice - I ride the Shimano m540s and am thinking of getting a single sided Garmin rally pedal that I can move around all my non road bikes. It's stack height is listed as 13.5 mm. I can't find stack heights for the 540s, but they seem to be about 16 mm trying to (imprecisely) measure them myself.

What's your take on introducing that sort of a leg length discrepancy long term? I'm pretty adaptable and i don't think I would mind consciously, but I also don't want to do anything stupid and create a long term problem.

I was having some knee issues that were partially due to a leg length discrepancy and a 3mm shim under 1 cleat eliminated it. If everything's good with you now I'd consider a shim to even them out.
