Here's where it's at after the Lightening CS and Dura Ace FD updates. I got 17.30 and 17.26 on the scale so I went with the average. I need to find a way to lose 119g to get it under 17lbs. Any suggestions?

Cable housing: I-Link
Cables: PowerCordz
CS: Lightning
Rings: Sugino SS 42t/FSA 29t
Cassette: SRAM XX 9 speed
Shifters: Paul's Thumby/DA 9speed
Bar: Race Face Next Carbon

Is that frame made by whoever makes Sette frames? Looks identical to my phantom!
Probably. I heard the same factory makes a large variety of brands with minor variations.

Very nice!

too bad you got rid of the Kona...

How much does the raceface bar weigh? How wide is it?
The RF bar was/is the same as my old EC90 bar @ 99g. It's the same width as well at
21" if memory serves. It's been a good bar with no issues and great shock absorption, IMO.

Cool to see there are still some hardcore v-brake users !

What's the weight and setback off your seat post ?
I'm not sure on setback, but probably about 1cm or so. 182g on the post.

Drop the shock and get a White Brothers Rock Solid. Weighs just 1.6 lbs! Drop the big ring and rear cassette, both dr's and go SS. Bike should come down to close to 14lbs! Sorry, I just had to throw that out there. I am running SS but have a steel frame (mass produced, over the counter, GT Peace chromo frame) but have managed to get the whole bike down to 20.46 lbs. Not bad for what it is but still no where near where so of you guys are with fully geared rides. Can't believe how much some of the carbon seats are running! Good Lord!

if the frame's susp-corrected for 100mm fork then just buy the niner carbon fork.
550 grams.
at 465mm A2C it's the same length as my marz 100mm gran fondo.
have one on my explosif (NOT WW build but fun fork!)

Rocket Ron for no loss in performance.

WOuld have suggested Durin SL, but I do not think they make it with V-brake. Are your canti studs titanium?

Take stickers off the rims and fork. That's several grams.

Can you shave off the disk brake mounts from frame and fork? Should be good for like 20g at least.
