Yet another day in paradise.....no wordsmithing this time.

Saturday: did a solo exploration ride to Lac Vert and down around in Les Lindarets.
Sunday: ride with Jennifer across to Les Gets for a bunch of DH course runs.

Gorgeous pics! Les Gets looks dammn fast, as evidenced by the stutter bumps.

Thanks for that hit.

it better be fast! 2004 world champs are being held there:

http://www.lesgets2004.com/eindexnew.htm

Characteristics :

Start : 1 660 m
Finish : 1 175 m
Drop : 485 m
Large passages : 40%
Tight passages : 60%
Fast sections : 65%
Technical sections : 35%

The Mont-Chery, already a legend, offers still more show and will boost the adrenalin !
The race takes place on the Mont-Chery slopes where 5 World Cups have already been run in the past.
The downhill run has been remodelled for the world championships especially the last 700 m so as to make this race even more spectacular.
