Gotta tire question...

I ride to my trailheads and was curious if anyone had a good tire recommendation for the street ride over as well my fireroad XC ride once on the trails. The ride to the trailhead is about 7 miles all uphill. My fireroads are typical SoCal dry.

I was riding some Panaracers Fire XC, but notice so much rolling resistence on the pavement. Currently I am riding some SweetSkinz Camo tires with short knobs and it's much better. They wear pretty quickly though, so looking for a replacement.

I know it's going to be a compromise to have a tire that rides decently on pavement AND fireroad trails, but I think that's what I need.

hutchinson python airlight

why don't you try hutchinson python airlight? It is design for fireroad and it is light weight.

I'll try those out. I was eyeing those at the SuperBlo tonite. They've got the bling gold ones on sale. I'll give it a shot.
