I talked with the girl at the Soulcraft booth at Interbike. Only two sets have been made so far, along with the headset. They were made for the Soulcraft pimpin fixies that they made. One for Paul, one for Matt at Soulcraft.

I doubt you'll see them in production any time soon, if ever. Very cool looking, but also very spindly looking. Nice for the townie bikes they made though.

No room for new production

I think I read somewhere that Paul has it's CNC machines maxed out with current production and that there wasn't any room to allow mass manufacturing of other projects.

As for the cranks, I think that there was another set on that Cococino Cycles bike that was given away at Interbike this year. Check the picture gallery here on mtbr in the Interbike gallery for a picture of that bike.

They kind of remind me of Campy Nuevo Record cranks, which weren't noodly at all but could be broken, and that was in road usage.

whats spindly about em?

i'd have some...as the proud owner of a hubset, 4 sets of brake levers, a set of brake calipers and a t shirt ... i have never had any issue with paul stuff. it last and puts up with prolonged (ab)use extremely well
I love the Paul stuff. I've owned tons his product over the years, and still do. None of it has ever let me down.

I'm just saying they look spindly. I certainly woudn't hammer on them on a fixie or a mtb. I think they would be pretty flexy.
