How long would you estimate this ride to take for an average rider http://passiontrailbikes.com/files/ECdM-Map.pdf
2.0 hrs for a moderate/social ride. I assume it's a clockwise ride. I do a similar route, but drop down Gordon Mill 0.6 miles at CM03 and then go UP the upper portion of Steam Donkey and then continue on with the same route. That adds some time and challenge.

6 - 8 mph is gonzo fast if we're talking total total speed including breaks and the such. The uphills are monster there, although if you know the area the worst ones can be avoided. I think I'm at the worst 'pretty good' and I average 5 or so at best this season, but I often seek out the hardest climbs as well...

http://www.destinationproductions.com/customers/PassionTrails/ scroll down to ECdM video link

See the video map of the loop above - When I shot the video, it took just over a hour in wet conditions. But I was riding solo. The video shows you the evaluation profile of the trail and I think the attached map is a bit clearer.

I find that Manzanita can be a fast climb except for the short technical section - were you need to be very carful if your riding carbon cranks and nice pedals. The last climb up ECdM Creek is actual a time suck - it has a pretty good grade.

Anyway, if it is your first time I would allow two hours ( you most-likely need to stop and read your map in spots) -- if your with a group and out on a sunday ride 2+
