I am shopping for part for my DH rig. Needless to say im pretty lost on what to buy (im on a budget fyi) so far this is what i have found so far for shifters and DERAILLEURS:

If you like Shimano and you're putting it on a DH rig, I'd probably go with Zee. It's good stuff. If you have the extra money get a Saint shifter instead of Zee.

Id go with Zee as well...but with a saint derailleur. Zee can be had for around $60 and saint shifter under $60. Bike bling had the shifter for $58 and the Merlin cycles had it for like $63. Of you could run both zee shifter and derailleur and save some more.

I like the look of those... nice short cage they look pretty bomb proof and they're at the right price! Now i just have to learn how to switch a 9 speed cassette for a 10 speed lol
