From Parks Forward:
Over the course of 18 months, an independent commission made up of experts, advocates and thought-leaders is conducting a wholesale assessment of the (California State) park system. This independent process is designed to address the financial, operational, and cultural challenges facing State Parks to ensure the system's long-term viability.
Well, the 18 months is close to up - their report/recommendations are due in April. While I'm sure the majority will be centered around how NOT to hide over $20M worth of funds while closing parks statewide due to budget constraints, I'm still interested in the "cultural challenges" they are supposed to address.

Did anyone here attend any of the input sessions they held around the state?

Any bets being placed on contents of the report regarding shared use?
