I know the Paragon is primarily an XC bike, but I KNOW some of you guys/gals go for the occassional small airs  . I think I want one of these bikes, but not if I have to "baby it". I'm not so hard on my bikes, but I'm 200 lbs and I enjoy a small drop every now and again. Is the Paragon up to the task?

What do you consider a small drop? I thick it should be able to handle 2 foot drops for quite a while. I've taken a demo Rig into a skatepark and blasted it for about an hour with no problems. I just wouldn't ride that crazy on an aluminum bike all the time.

I've taken a few pretty big drops (biggest probably 4 ft.) and like to hit jumps when I see them. I haven't had a problem, but, it is not a down hill bike. You need to take them gracefully and the frame tends to react better on a down hill landing, ranther than flat, as do all non-full suspension bikes. Had my from for about three months, so we'll see how well she holds up.
