I've a Chiner carbon frame, Trek Stache clone....in matte black. I want to paint it. Anyone know of a website with detailed steps for painting carbon? This is going to be a rattle can job.
From what I have gathered in my searches:
1) Sand frame..
2) Prime frame (light primer color for light paint finish)
3) Multiple thin layers of paint with adequate drying time.
4) Finish clear coat.
5) Sand???
6) Buff???
Feel confident about the first few steps, steps 5 and 6 is where I am somewhat unsure...
