I smashed my knee into my steer tube in late September after my chain slipped off. The steer tube hit my left knee between the top of the knee cap and the rest of the knee. It hurt a lot for about two months and then got seemed to get better.

Last week, I smacked my knee on something in the same spot and now it hurts again. Any ideas as to what this might be? I think it may be patellar tendonitis but I'm not really sure. I can barely ride because of the pain and I'm forced to sit on the couch and watch mindless TV.
