so while riding my trainer I am getting a pain in my right knee after about 30 minutes of medium spinning.

If i try to touch the spot where the pain is, it would be direct back of the right knee, maybe 2 finger widths to the right (outside) edge.

IT band issues? Seat adjustment issues?

thnx for the input.

I was wondering if you ever figured out what that pain was. I had a pain back of my knee, I knew I pulled something. After a month or so i went to the Dr. He said I had a top calf muscle strain. It would take a while to heal. Im looking at 4 to 6 weeks of little to no riding.

could be IT band, but that is the most lateral muscular fascia of the leg. the first thing i thought of was the tendon of the biceps femoris muscle. it is the big flexor of the knee (alot stronger than the tensor fascia lata of the IT band) and is in the posterior and lateral aspect of the knee. the way to get of the pain is probably the same though. something like ice, rest, aspirin/ibuprofen/acetominphen. i'm just blathering.
