I've got some silver Kings for a new set of wheels. Thinking of DT4.1d rims, silver SuperComps with blue nips. I know they would not be as sharp as yours, but what do you think? Would black spokes look better? Hope Larry has no trouble getting the DTs.

I'm no Fo, but I thought SuperComps only came in black? I'm not a fan of black spokes, it doesn't take long for them to get scratched and start showing silver.

I'm a happy camper with my King/4.1d/Wheelsmith setup

Nothing better than hearing a set of King wheels buzzzzing down the trail. I have eight sets myself (3 disk, 1 road, 3 v-brake & 1 BMX)

Yup SuperComps black only. No worries paddlefoot64 I'm sure Larry has plenty in stock.

I can't decide on black or silver Kings right now. I'm thinking all black everything with silver hubs.

DT rims are a good choice.

I think alternating/contrasting colors looks good. Maybe silver hubs, black spokes, silver nipples, and of course the rims are black. Blue nipples would be fine too since the frame is blue.

I forgot about SuperComps only coming in black. I thought about a blue set of hubs, but that would copy Fo exactly. Got a deal on a rear silver King and couldn't pass it up just because of it's color. I'll probably order the front from you. Your wheels have been good to me. I just don't need the heavier DS28 rims all the time. Will save them for HD use.

yeah....for a wheelset Larry built me I wanted silver spokes as well. I went with Wheelsmith double-butted which I am very happy with since their weight is in between the Supercomps and Competitions which is nice.

and as far as bling goes....i do not feel i am worthy given the sweet bikes/setups I have seen as of late. Who was it that has the industry nine wheels? he definitely gets my vote....or Tigman, who has 2 blinged Ventanas.
