Just use the disc tabs baby! :D
Classic, standard Padre. Remember not everybody is 6' 30" and 20 gillion pounds with a loaded camelbak. :p V's work just fine for this skinny (normal sized 20 years ago) person on a short travel XC bike in dry weather.

it's not always about weight.

less moving parts, less parts.

plus, you can keep your short travel XC wheels for much longer!

By the way, my Juicy 5's on my 5" bike rule. Single best bike product I've purchased in the last few years. Not having to resort to 3 finger braking at the end of some of the steeps in Laguna is a good thing.

EDIT. Padre, were you at the top of Harding on Thanksgiving? I thought I saw your wife milling about.
