Overnight Loss of Pressure in UST Tire

558 Views 4 Replies 5 Participants Last post by  Casual Observer
I am losing all of the air pressure in my rear UST kenda karma tire overnight. I recently installed this tire. If it is because I installed wrong, should I take it off, and retry with soap? I am planning on adding stans, will that help? Any help would be great. thanks.

use soap and stans you problems will be over

it's a great setup UST and Stan's...:)
A half a scoop of stans in each tire solved my slow leak problems.
Stans good

Add a scoop or two depending on the size of your tire, then inflate and hoola hoop roll the wheel to get the stans goop to seal all the bead. I've got a non-UST tire w/Stans and have zero leakage for almost a month & counting. Great stuff.
Did you pump it up to 60+ PSI when you originally installed it? To bet the bead to seat completely at first iinstall, they recommend you pump it up as high as it can go, and then let air out. Stan's will likely help if the leak is where the bead is seading--or maybe even a puncture. Also, make sure the stem is fully tightened.
