Proof that the man get's out and enjoys some pain every once in a while.
Supporting the local grassroots racing scene for yet another year. Can Prairie City be considered 'grassroots' anymore? I mean it's a Wednesday night and there's over 500 people there! More than the last Norba National I went too, I think.:p

Good seeing you at the races 'Wood!

1: Sherwood(537) get up and over.
2: Sherwood saying, "What? That's all ya got?" or something like that...

and just so you all know I do these races too, in the appropriate Clydesdale class of course.

3: Me(1421) eyeing my competition(1423). Next week, yer arse is mine!:madman:

I really enjoy the PC Race Series........it brings out all the riders ....young and old....from donut chacers to lycra wearing pro racer types. The best part is it's a cheap thrill $12.00 a race.....still have money left over for donuts the next morning. Ole'

One of the things I enjoyed when I rode at Prarie was the course always changed and at the time the Jrs had a class and rode a lap also. I think they do a seperate course now? My boys both rode also, Kevin more tha Dustin but it was a great family thing. At the time Kev was a whisp in the wind and Cyclistagonzo rode shotgun to keep him from being run over! Then The stop for ice cream cones on the way home...UUmmmUUmm gooood! A turn out of 500? Time to relocate the Sea Otter!!! The kids can hunt rattlesnake eggs!!!

Good lord we've been going out there a long time huh?

I remember the Jr escorts well. The skinny experts had to give my 300lbs carcus (at the time) a WIDE berth and that swung them away from the kids. They all made comments about what a good idea it was that I was there. I miss the good ole days of 200 or less to be honest, and Dave C. doing the commenting on the Megaphone.

500 people on a 4-5 miles course? Ick. But that's just me, the positive side? It means that for that night there will less people out on the local trails!

Looks like there is a guy pushing his bike up the hill in pic #3.

To much lycra and dust for my tastes, but looks like you all had fun.
