Was plannign on heding up with the kids this weekend and someone had told me there is not enough snow for sledding. Is it that bad? I thought there would be a few ft on the hills near Snowbowl. Not as high in elevation, but those that are just past I guess near that Wing Mountian play area.

So please how about a snow report for sledding with 4yr olds.

There's not much snow around, and what is on the ground is gonna be icy. There hasn't been any to speak of lately so the sun's been beating down on whats around for a couple weeks. I think sarge is right, I drove past wing mountain last week and it looked closed. I've never been much of a sledder, but its probably not worth the trip.

I was there a week ago and Crowley Pit (Google it) had some sledding open on the right side in a shady area. I don't think it will last a long time. Maybe wait until next storm.

The Forest Service doesn't allow any parking on Snowbowl road anymore. I think.
