Just in case you havent checked on Dav's progress lately, I'll let you know he has had a epic week of ski descents. Now all he's got left is Longs peak, he's probibly skinning up the approach right now. Here's an article from the Aspen Daily- https://www.aspendailynews.com/article_17701
I havent been keeping up with snow conditions on Longs this winter, but I will be checking out the webcam as soon as the sun rises- https://mms.nps.gov/romo/netcam.jpg
My guess is he hopes to ski the Cable Route, I cant imagine there is enough snow to ski off the SW face of the summit and get to the Trough Couloir, or to ski his way over to the couloir via. the Homestretch. But this is Davenport, he could easily ski a route like Homestretch to Notch to Broadway to Lambs (may require spring snow conditions).
Whats that? you have been living under a rock for the last year, well check out https://www.skithe14ers.com
Man, seeing all those trip reports sure makes me want to move out of FlatBoat and find some REAL mountains to climb.
