Hello,

I am new to Colorado and I need some help with a back injury, can anyone recommend a specialist? I am in Boulder/Denver.

Thanks

Lee Nelson with Boulder Neurosurgical, http://www.bnasurg.com/ . I've had two surgeries and he's done both and I feel better than ever. He also tries to avoid surgery if at all possible, wasn't in my case, which is another plus.

Dr. Rene at Front Range Chiropractic - the best chiro i've been too, hands down. one visit or maybe two and I'm right back to perfection (or as close as I can get)

If you need actual surgery then this guy is the THE MAN:

"Dr. Villavicencio received his medical degree from Harvard with honors in 1995 and went on to complete a neurosurgical residency at Duke University Medical Center in 2001. He then finished an orthopedic spine surgery fellowship at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles in 2002 and is one of only a handful of surgeons in the country with dual neurosurgery and orthopedic spine training."

He did a full artificial disk replacement on my wife this July for a herniated disk she had from a DH accident. Coolest crap I've seen in a long time. She's back at the gym lifting as I type this.

And he biked into work for the surgery.
