I just aquired Skooterdude's Bontrager Race frame - thanks Scott. I need to get a fork for it and I am considering something from White Borthers since they can be fitted for 1" Does anybody know the original spec for axle to crown for the '94 Bontrager Race suspended frame? I really don't want to screw with the geometry of the bike much. The stated axle to crown for the White Brothers xc.8 is 457mm and I think the xc4 and xc-70 both have a smaller axle to crowns since they have less travel. Any thoughts on the performance of these forks would be greatly appreciated also. Thanks, Michael

... the original spec axle to crown is 420mm. i rode my race lite with a pace rc36 proclass, 440mm ~80mm travel, i had to change sag to 20mm then it works fine.
