yesterday only to find out that they're out of medium frames and can't build any more because they are waiting for a new supply of downtubes... Arrrrggghhhhh!!!! Could be a few weeks.

I want a Terremoto, and I want one NOW. :madman:

Yep.

I'm doing the 24 hours of Killington a couple of weeks from now so that'll probably be the old gal's last epic.

Enjoy.

Ahh yes, brings back fond memories of waiting. Just remember, the pain you feel while waiting, will only make you love it that much more! :)

Superdust - I'll be going with a pretty stealth color scheme on this one.

It's a trade-in. Nothing in it for a dealer. I'll be getting all my parts from bikeman.com, but they're not a Ventana dealer. Bikeman.com is actually one of my LBS's - Bath Cycle and Ski, in Bath, Maine.

Shameless plug - Great folks, very knowledgable, and I can usually walk in and hold the parts in my hot little hands before I commit to buying.

Good God...THAT IS SICK!

Bortis, that is the best looking T-Moto I have seen. I was thinking white, but...

Also, is that a new feature at trailside?? Haven't been there this year at all. Any action shots?

No, no, more like this... ;) How much more stealth can you go than “Ghost Green”?

You’re going to love it what ever color you go!

cant wait to see that bad boy in person!

and if you want a Terremoto that people wont even be able to see, there is always el beastro's camo version....it completely blends in with the terrain, especially if he wears his cute matching shorts

Thanks. Is trailside the name of that little WAFTA skills park past Park City? If so that's where this photo is from. I broke my thumb about 5 weeks ago and last night was my first time riding again, so me and a friend headed up there becasue it's fun, low risk and if my hand hurt I wasn't committed to 10 more miles of riding or anything.

The ladders and stuff are all pretty easy, there are a couple small sets of jumps and a wall ride, nothing crazy, but still fun for an hour or so. When I emailed in my Serial # and other info to Ventana to register my frame they asked for a picture for their gallery. And since I hadn't ridden in 5 weeks and all I had been doing was tuning and cleaning my bike to pass the time I figured this was a good place for a photo of a clean ET (which it never is). Once I started riding and I found my hand didn't really hurt there was no stopping so no action pics, I was just so happy to be riding again I couldn't stop.

Bortis...that one deserves to be in the set-up thread!

I hear you about the pics. I've been riding for most of my life, but I don't have any pics to prove it! Stopping mid-ride just doesn't seem like an option for the most part.

It looks like there must have been some building at the, as I know it, "Trailside Skills Park". There was definately nothing that looked like what is in the background of your photo the last time I was there.

Good to hear that the WAFTAers may be creating some new action...

I can't join cause I live in the Uintas :D

What made you decide on "ghost green" vs. "army green?"

Saw a few, very few, other Ventana's (pre-Terremoto) in the color, and my Spidey Sense was tingling.

I was the first to use the color on a Ventana. I got an El Salt painted that color (after a misstart with another color) and gave it the name "ghost green" a couple years back. Glad you like the color.

Isn't army green a matte color?
Personally I like the ghost green since it's a very ambiguous color.. between a green and gray.

white is aiiiiite too i guess

army/ghost green??

is that color available from Ventana? or is it aftermarket?

btw - after consultation with the board, i've decided on the rp23 rear shock and i'm leaning toward the '08 talas 36 rc2. seems to be the best way to get the most versatile bike out of the TM.

thanks,
