I have my 2022 Rallon on order, but am wondering what everyone's experience is with their "lifetime warranty" and "accident policy" - especially for folks in the USA.

I currently own an Ibis and they are local to me and their warranty and customer service has been great. I didn't break a frame or anything like that but several minor items that they not only kept me whole but also gave me extra swag and freebies to keep me happy.

Never owned an Orbea, but I do know there are dealers in the U.S. Hopefully there's one near(ish) you.
Yup. I've ordered from a local dealer. They had good feedback - saying Orbea air freights warranty replacement parts/frames, but the usual hold-up can be customs, compared to a US brand that my keep parts in house. But of course their feedback is biased to get my sale.

Orbea has a US operation, not sure if they hold any warranty stock to speed up that process?

I had a frame that was destroyed in air travel. The crash replacement fee was really reasonable.
Glad you survived the crash ;-) Baggage handling mishaps are really pain the butt - did you file a claim with the airline and get some of the replacement fee back as well?

Ha.

The replacement fee is a work in progress. After a huge long process of getting the airline a bunch of documents they denied the claim because the bike wasn't in a hard case. Which is a bit of a piss off because if you put a bike in a hardcase it is over the airline's weight limit.

Fortunately, I run a race team that has a law firm as a sponsor. Discussions are on going!

I'm sure they keep a few small parts, but my LBS said they done rear triangle replacement and that came from Spain....

Orbea is on top of their game with warranties and crash replacements.
Great to hear. How do they compared to Ibis? Does Orbea stock small parts (bearings, axles, etc) in the USA and frame pieces come from Spain?
