The title says it all. I'm going to be in Orange County next week visiting my family, and I wanted to get some riding it. With the sun disappearing by 5:30, I figure that means I should be open to night rides. Are there any legal night riding spots in OC?

Any of the trails in the Cleveland National Forest are legal; Holy Jim, Trabuco, Santiago TT/Old Camp/Luge, Blackstar/Motorway, San Juan. Santiago TT is probably the most popular due to its ease of use to get to trail head after work. You will regularly see over 25 riders there at night.
