I recently bought a team replica Optimo HT. It's stated as having a 27.2 seatpost size however of the THREE seatposts that I have (which are all 27.2), only one seems to work.

One seatpost (from my Giant NRS) doesn't go in beyond 1 or 2", the second (Truvativ Team) goes in but only after really muscling it in, the third goes in fine which is some generic seatpost from a $300 '98 GT.

Has anyone had or heard of similar problems?

I have one two --> had not problems putting my old c'dale seatposts on it

either the old seatposts aren't 27.2 or your frame isn't.

I suggest taking to your LBS and checking it out
