I usually just go with whatever feels right to me but when using DC shifters/levers it said how to set it up which was kind of like putting your hand on the grip and extending your 2 fingers on the lever and it should be about in the middle of the 2 joints from the tip of your fingers. Er something like that but I forget exactly and Im too lazy to read up onit.
