Need a little more room in the cockpit so looking for a angled (not angled rather set back an inch or so at the top of the post as apposed to a straight post) and lighter also. Most posts I am finding are 30.9mm but the one in the MKIII is 30.0mm. The LBS guys suggested reaming the bike tube to use the larger 30.9 post. Those guys crack me up! :lol: Don't want to shim and use a smaller diameter post either. Any recommendations regarding online stores and seat post types / brands would be appreciated?

Try the Race Face post. They have them available in 30.0mm and they have about an inch offset.

second Rave Face

It is light, comes in 30.0, and has the off set you ar looking for.
It also has a very cool adjustment feature. I ran one for a while on my Team, but prefer a straight post .

make sure you double check the seatpost size. there have been some questions here about exact size. I have a thomson 30.0 that does creep down over time. some guys have a race face 30.2. try the larger size to see if it fits exactly or not
