Was riding the bayou trails...are they paved, hard pack dirt or what? Does anyone here ride them? Obviously they are mostly flat but I think they could be good for endurance training...braes bayou is what, 30 miles or so?

I believe all of Braes is paved. Buffalo is a decent ride, but it has been 8 years since I lived there.

eh...

It depends on which part of town you ride.Some areas go through some areas i'd be wary of going. Plus, on a few occasions, i've come across homeless people living under the underpasses. Nothings ever hapened, but just be prepared to see that. Plus it's a bayou. so sometimes it stanks pretty bad...
