I'm currently sporting this full length model on my leg. Busted my Tibia, New Years Eve.
3 more weeks in this blasted thing.
Anyway, I desperately needed to get some mountain air into my lungs this last weekend. I was slipping into a bad funk and needed to somehow get some pedaling in.
I removed my non drive side pedal and was able to get in about 10 miles. It may not have been real MTB'ng...but, it did my head a world of good.
My question is this..... Aside from the inherrent risks...do you suys see any downside to this? My left leg has already atrophied, and my good leg is going to have to do double duty for a long time anyway.
Do I risk some sort of biomechanical long term damage? Am I creating some sort of unbalanced hip/core trouble?
TIA.
