Last weekend to ride at the Whiteface Mountain Bike Park for the 2011 season.

Looking for a little adventure to get the adrenaline pumping? The thrill of zig-zagging down the rugged terrain of the single track trails at the Whiteface Mountain Bike Park will be exactly the rush you have been craving! Combined with the spectacular views of the Adirondack High Peaks fall foliage, the experience is one you don't want to miss out on!

Whiteface Mountain Bike Park features 27 trails which offer tracks for all levels of riders and range from gentle cruisers, like our new beginner trail "Mama Bear", to steep challenging trails for the hardcore downhiller.

Whether you are six or 70 years old, the Mountain Bike Park has options for riders of every ability and whether you are just looking to improve your skills, or brand-new to the sport, lessons can also be arranged for riders.

The Mountain Bike Park offers shuttle services that take you and your bike from the base lodge up to a drop-off point where you can choose from a selection of trails that match your ability. For expert-only riders, the scenic Cloudsplitter Gondola will transport you to the summit of Little Whiteface to advanced trails where the turns are tight and the drops are steep.

The last day to experience this awesome adventure is Monday, Oct. 10, so don't drag your heels and miss out on all the action! Regular Mountain Bike Park hours are 9 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. For more information about downhill biking lessons, tickets or rentals at Whiteface Mountain Bike Park, operated by High Peaks Cyclery, call 518.946.2223 ext. 375 or log on to: Whiteface Mountain Bike Park - Home
