I'm curious as to what your XCE's are weighing in at? My wifes XS with a Fox Float, Romic, Juicy's, Kings, Thomson, Sram, RF Deus ect. ect. is coming in at 28.14 lbs.

My Large XCE with Marathon S, Pushed Vanilla RC rear shock, XT cranks, XT drivetrain, Wtb LaserV saddle, King/819 hoops, Avid mechs, and 2.4" WTB Motoraptor/2.25" Geax Sedona setup is in around 30.5 pounds on a bathroom scale (stand with bike method; scale goes in 0.5 pound increments).

Not light, but pretty burly for agressive XC type of stuff that I tend to ride
