Hi!

I just bought an double eclipse kit (frnt + rear) on ebay (at good price ), but from what I have read it is better to go tubeless with new tires. I currently have Schwalbe Black Sharks (they are a little old, were mounted on my old bike), however they have not been ridden that much. What do you think would be better to do. Wait until I get new tires or just try my luck??

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

How old are the old tires? I can not help with this one, other than to offer this:

What is your peace of mind worth? Are you riding within a couple of miles of a ride if there is an issue?

how old?

Timewise around 18 months old, however they have been riden only about 100 miles (160 km). The tread is barely worn.

should be fine

18 months isn't THAT old. No signs of dry rot, cracking or anything, right? You'd probably be okay withy them.
